Fired Up at Red Oak

    Melinda Donelan and several of her Red Oak students presented their creations from the Glass Fusion grant program to Foundation Trustees. The students explained how they learned about Frank Lloyd Wright and used his principles to create beautiful artwork using the glass kiln.

Month of the Military Child at Wayne Thomas

Wayne Thomas celebrated the Month of the Military Child in April with a special assembly and breakfast for the school’s 70 military students and their families.  Using monies received from Fun(d) Run, Wayne Thomas served a continental breakfast and provided flags/certificates for every student associated with the military.

Green Bay Creates Outdoor Classroom

This year, Green Bay School used their money received from Fun(d) Run to purchase outdoor musical instruments for their outdoor courtyard.  Last week, over 150 adults and children came together to transform the courtyard into an outdoor classroom which will have a science and music focus.

13th Annual Roots Fest at Northwood

The 13th annual Roots Fest is a celebration of culture and diversity at Northwood.  Supported in part by a Foundation Grant and by the Northwood PTA, the evening showcase featured an array of student talent.  The day long event brought in many artists representing different cultures.
